Stop Taking Orders. Start Solving Problems.

If everything becomes a course, nothing becomes a solution.

We’re long past the era when L&D teams were judged by how much content they could produce. In this video, I talk about the shift I’m seeing across the most effective teams, they’re saying “no” more often, not because they’re less responsive, but because they’re clearer about what actually drives performance.

I break down the difference between the traditional content‑factory model that’s reactive, volume‑driven, and focused on completions and the emerging product‑team model, where L&D owns real performance problems like onboarding, manager capability, sales effectiveness, and safety. These teams iterate intentionally, embrace feedback, and measure success through outcomes, not deliverables.

If your team is wrestling with content bloat, shifting expectations, or the pressure to “produce more,” this video offers a practical, grounded way forward including small steps you can take this week to start operating with a product mindset.

If this sparks something for you, hit subscribe and drop a comment. I’d love to hear how your team is evolving.
